Here you will find information on the Adelaide electorate, news about what is happening in your backyard, my work in the Federal Parliament and a selection of speeches and newsletters.

Most importantly, I want this to be a space where you can contact me for help with any federal matters, or issues and developments in your area.

I also run mobile offices and street corner meetings right across the electorate. Contact my office to find out the location of the next meeting or about becoming a volunteer.

I am proud to be part of the Labor Government as we set about meeting the demands of managing the nation. Personally I am humbled and honoured to have been appointed as the Minister for Early Childhood Education, Child Care and Youth and the Minister for Sport. Friday 20 February was a landmark day for the Government as hundreds of young Australians from across the country attended the inaugural Australian Youth Forum (AYF) event - youTHINK. I want to thank each and every person who attended youTHINK for taking the time to come along and give their insights and help direct responses to the issues that matter most to them.

Meanwhile in the Sporting sphere, I recently announced an initiative to help young Australians achieve their sporting aspirations. The Local Sporting Champions grant program will support over 1,800 young sportspeople and more than 200 sports teams to access funding to help cover the cost of attending significant or specialist sporting events each year.
