THE FACTS ON SCHOOL FUNDING FOR CHILDREN WITH DISABILITY

The self-proclaimed fixer, Christopher Pyne seems unable to face the facts about the Abbott Government's abandonment of students with disability, so I thought I'd make it easy for him:

Fact 1 - In the Abbott Government's first Budget, they terminated the More Support for Students with Disabilities program, worth $100 million a year.

Fact 2 - Despite promising "more funding for people with disability through the 'disability loading' in 2015," nearly four months into 2015, new loading has not been introduced.

Christopher Pyne has been caught out trying to change history today - claiming that the interim arrangements put in place by Labor while the Gonski disability loading was finalised somehow meets his election commitment.

On Adelaide ABC this morning, Pyne said: "As the Education Minister, I put another $100 million in it for this year..." but his own Budget Papers say "this initiative will conclude in December 2014."

Christopher Pyne, the self-proclaimed fixer, is trying to fix the history books to hide the fact his government has failed children with disability. I'd be happy to show him his own Budget papers which tell the truth.
